West Kent Branch to run its first HA and AP Conference

Free places are now available at a conference aimed at Healthcare Assistants and Assistant Practitioners in Maidstone, Kent, on Thursday 5 July.
The event will be run by the West Kent Branch of the RCN and is their first HA and AP event conference. The event is intended to provide a learning opportunity for the increasing number of HCA and AP members in the region.
Details are as follows:
Date: Thursday 5 July 2012
Venue: Maidstone Hilton Hotel, Bearstead Road, Weavering, Maidstone, Kent ME14 5AA
Time: 9.30am to 3.30pm
Tea, coffee and lunch will be provided.
By the end of the day, delegates should understand:
- accountability and how this is applied to HAs and APs
- equality and diversity, and how to be a positive role practitioner within clinical practice
- career development pathways.
