Call for specialists

The Royal College of Nursing is seeking nurses with experience and knowledge of the listed conditions and technologies to review the NICE consultation documents on behalf of the RCN.  National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) develops guidance for the treatment of ill health and the promotion of health in England and Wales.  Please contact caroline.rapu@rcn.org.uk if you are interested in participating in any of the following topics:

• Aripiprazole for the treatment of schizophrenia in people aged 13-17
• Cilostazol, naftidrofuryl oxalate, pentoxifylline and inositol nicotinate for the treatment of intermittent claudication in people with peripheral arterial disease
• Omalizumab for severe and persistent asthma in children 6 - 12 years
• Prucalopride for the treatment of chronic constipation
• Bortezomib and thalidomide for the first-line treatment of multiple myeloma
• Dronedarone within its licensed indication for the treatment of atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter.
