Official Opening of New Exeter Office
Dr Peter Carter, RCN Chief Executive & General Secretary opened the new Office of RCN South West on Monday 8 June.
Making an exception to the usual 'Friday cake day' and in keeping with our love of all things sweet it seemed appropriate to celebrate with this beautiful cake made locally by Stephanie Aplin and cut by Dr Carter to mark the official opening. Guests included long standing members and new representatives who were on day one of their foundation training at the Exeter office.
The RCN now has nearly 40 regional and legal staff based in Exeter which sits in the middle of a region spanning the counties of Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire. The new accommodation is on Sowton Industrial Estate, within easy access of the M5, local transport networks and offers modern purpose built office space including conference facilities and meeting rooms.
