Meet the new South West Board members

The elections for the South West Regional Board were completed at the end of 2012 and the new Board is now in place with several new members. The new Board will discuss issues affecting nursing in the region and represent the views and opinions of our members in the South West.
Our Board is comprised of a representative from each branch and two council members, shown below:

Jeannett Martin, South West Regional Director, said: “The Board plays such an important role in the South West, helping to implement national policies on a local level to fit the needs of the South west region. As well as influencing health, social and economic policy on behalf of our members. So having a strong, fresh, engaged board is essential, especially during these economically difficult times.
“I look forward to meeting the new members of the Board and working as a team to ensure the South West region is well represented and nurtured during the next year.”
