Apply now for Mary Seacole awards

RCN members who are registered nurses, midwives or health visitors in England are being encouraged to apply for the Mary Seacole Awards programme for 2013-14.
These awards provide the opportunity to undertake a specific health care project, or other educational or development activity that benefits and improves the health outcomes of people from black and minority ethnic (BME) communities.
Funded by NHS Employers and England’s Department of Health, the awards are run in association with the Royal College of Nursing, the Royal College of Midwives, Unison, Unite and the CPHVA.
Applications for the awards close on 31 May 2013.
