Chair and Vice Chair of Congress elected

Jason Warriner and Roderick (Rod) Thomson have been re-elected unopposed as Chair and Vice Chair of Congress respectively. Both will begin their two year term of office at the Agenda Committee meeting on 25 June 2008.
Jason is a Matron in Sexual Health and HIV Services and an experienced activist. He held the position of Vice Chair of Congress for 4 years before taking up the position of Chair in 2006. As Chair, Jason will also chair the Congress Agenda Committee. Read more about Jason Warriner.
Rod was awarded Fellowship of the RCN in 2002 for his outstanding contribution to the development and delivery of public health nursing in partnership with client groups and other agencies. Read more about Rod Thomson.
Nomination papers were sent to branch secretaries, forum chairs, the UK Steering Committees and ANS Executive as the previous term of office for both positions concluded at the close of Congress in May 2008.
