Co-Director of RCN Northern Region appointed

The Royal College of Nursing has appointed Marian Pearson to the position of Co-Director of the RCN Northern Region.

Marian will provide cover for two days a week while current RCN Regional Director Glenn Turp undertakes work on the RCN UK Mentorship programme until the end of March.

Since Marian left the RCN ten years ago, she has worked in senior roles in the NHS and the independent sector. RCN Co-Regional Director Glenn Turp said:

“Marian has a wealth of experience from across the NHS and independent sectors. It gives me great pleasure to be able to welcome Marian back to the RCN; she is a great asset to our team.”

Marian said:

“I am really excited to be back working in the RCN and am looking forward to working with new and former colleagues alike.”

Marian started work in her new role on 2 February 2010.
