Health professionals’ opinions on climate change and health sought
Published: 09 April 2009
RCN members are being encouraged to complete a short survey on climate change and health commissioned by the Commonwealth Health Professions Alliance. The survey, which should only take a few minutes to complete, asks if you have seen any Government policy or action plan on global warming or climate change.
The survey was undertaken to enable the Commonwealth Health Professions Alliance to accurately reflect the concerns of health professionals to health ministers when they meet for their annual meeting in Geneva in May, where they will discuss climate change and health.
It is important that the views of nurses from the United Kingdom are reflected and so far very few responses have been received.
Complete the climate change and health survey (Word 88.5KB) and return to: CHPA@commonwealthnurses.org by 17 April 2009.
