New publication explores competences for nurses working in imaging
Published: 07 September 2012
A framework for imaging nurses in clinical practice has been published by the Royal College of Nursing.
Available exclusively on the RCN website, Core Competences for Imaging Nursing includes six core competences, covering all modalities across imaging nursing.
Previously, a lack of nationally agreed competences has led to uncertainty in the expectations of imaging nurses and their managers.
Core Competences for Imaging Nursing is supported by Cook Medical.
