New virtual group to discuss the CQC and Monitor

The Royal College of Nursing is setting up a virtual group for nurses with an interest in the work of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and Monitor in England.

It is an ideal group for members with concerns about forthcoming CQC inspections, about Monitor’s new responsibilities including their role in competition, and those who want to express their views on how system regulation can enable the delivery of safe, effective and compassionate care.

Your views, whether shared in emails or by telephone, will feed into the RCN’s work on system regulation. It is also an opportunity to get up-to-date information from the RCN on the issues.
