Nominate your representative of the year
Published: 29 November 2012
Nominations are open for the RCN Representative of the Year awards.
If you know an RCN representative who has gone the extra mile to help members, this is your opportunity to acknowledge their hard work and dedication by nominating them for an award. RCN members who nominate a winner will receive £100, and those who nominate a commendee will receive £50.
Members can put forward the names of representatives who have made a difference in their workplace, for Learning Representative of the Year, Safety Representative of the Year and Steward of the Year awards.
Nominations should demonstrate outstanding achievement and commitment to the RCN and to members in their workplace. This may include improved health and safety, pioneering a new learning initiative, resolution of workplace issues or disputes, or achievements in representation and consultation.
The closing date for entries is 4 January 2013 and the awards ceremony takes place on 21 April 2013 at RCN Congress in Liverpool.
