Nurses’ employment and morale: Wales 2009

Published: 19 November 2009

The Royal College of Nursing has launched a new publication which describes the findings for Wales from the 22nd RCN employment survey.

The survey found that more NHS nurses in Wales hold nursing degrees than elsewhere in the UK. In addition, when compared to the rest of the UK, a greater proportion of NHS nurses in Wales contribute over 50 per cent of their household incomes.

Nine thousand nurses from across the UK were surveyed, including 1,100 identified as living in Wales.
