Nursing staff required for health technologies committee
Published: 10 December 2012
The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) is seeking nursing staff for its independent advisory committees on the use of health technologies.
RCN members can apply to join one of four committees that consider and interpret evidence on the clinical and cost effectiveness of health technologies.
Members of all committees are drawn from the NHS, health care professionals, patients and carers, and the academic world, to contribute to improving the quality and consistency of care provided by the NHS.
All committee members must be able to attend 11 day-long committee meetings per year in either London or Manchester, and an annual away day. The period of committee membership is for three years in the first instance.
Completed applications should be returned by 5pm 9 January 2013.
