RCN Direct closed

RCN offices in Wales, including RCN Direct, Ty Maeth and Plas Eirias, will be closed today (18 January) due to the adverse weather conditions currently affecting the country. The RCN Direct Advice Centre is offering a message and call back service.

If you are an RCN member and are having difficulty in getting to your place of work today because of the adverse weather conditions, the RCN advises that you contact your manager for advice about what to do and to check your local policies. You may be expected to take annual leave or make up time at a later date if you are unable to get into work. There is no legal requirement to pay someone if they are unable to get into work although there may be local policies that allow for this.
