RCN Direct online advice offers improved service

It is now easier than ever for RCN members to seek online advice from RCN Direct.

Now available in a new A to Z format, RCN Direct online advice holds advice and information related to employment and clinical practice. Popular topics include discipline and dismissal; sickness; disclosure; nurse prescribing and confidentiality.

Regularly updated, the information also includes a range of downloadable factsheets and guides, free to RCN members.

RCN Direct Contact Centre Manager Terina Scheeres said: “We hope members will find the new format helpful as it allows them to view the entire range of online advice at a glance, as well as search by keyword or general topic area.”

The changes were made as a result of feedback from members and it is hoped that the new format will result in improved usability and accessibility.
