Online campaign, Born in the NHS, has named the RCN Foundation its benefitting charity.
The public was asked to nominate a charity that would benefit from a percentage of sales on their website. The RCN Foundation won with a 50 per cent share of the vote.
The RCN Foundation will now receive £5 for every item of merchandise sold by Born in the NHS, funding vital work to support nursing staff who are experiencing hardship.
Dinah Cox, Head of the RCN Foundation said: “Thanks to everyone who took the time to vote, nursing staff will now benefit from the sale of Born in the NHS merchandise. There were four very deserving charities in the poll so we are delighted to be chosen by the public as the named charity for this campaign.”
