RCN launches new specialist nurse publications

The Royal College of Nursing has launched two new publications for advanced and specialist nurses.

Views from Advanced and Specialist Nurses on National, Regional and Local Nursing Measures: An RCN Survey reports on the results of a survey undertaken in October 2011, exploring advanced and specialist nurse views of current national, regional and local nursing measures.

Patient Outcomes of Specialist Nursing Services: An RCN Quality Improvement Initiative describes the implementation of phase one of a quality improvement project to develop a range of measures to assess the quality of specialist nursing services. This work is closely linked to the development of the RCN’s Principles of Nursing Practice launched in 2010.
