RCN to join World Pride parade

The Royal College of Nursing will participate in this year’s World Pride parade.

Taking place on Saturday 7 July in central London, the parade is set to be the biggest ever.

“We hope that RCN members want to help make this event extra-special by joining the RCN walking group. We do hope that you will be able to join us,” said Wendy Irwin, RCN Diversity and Equalities Co-ordinator.

The theme of this year’s parade focuses on decriminalising homosexuality worldwide and achieving global LGBT equality.
