Refugee week now on

Refugee week is now taking place and is supported by the Royal College of Nursing.
The campaign week, which is organised by the Red Cross, celebrates the important contribution of refugees to UK society. People are asked to look beyond labels to the true identity of the refugee in modern Britain to overcome prejudice and help people restore their sense of identity and belonging.
The refugee week campaign website contains a wide range of helpful information including blogs and events taking place throughout the campaign.
Refugee week runs between 15 and 21 June 2009.
