Talk is cheap

Telephoning the RCN is now cheaper from mobiles, and could even be free as part of some evening and weekend landline call packages.

A new 0345 dialling code has replaced the old 0845 number which offered local rate calls from landlines. With the new number mobiles can call at a local rate too, meaning RCN members who do not have access to a landline or want to call from a private location don't have to pay more for the privilege. The number is also included in some landline free call packages, but members should check with their provider first.

The change affects all 0845 numbers and is a simple switch over of the two codes, for example, RCN Direct becomes 0345 772 6100.
