Voting opens in RCN elections

Published: 02 August 2012

Voting is now open for the election of two health practitioners and two student members to serve on RCN Council.

If you are a health care assistant (HCA) or assistant practitioner (AP) member of the RCN, you can vote for two members to fill the new health practitioner seats on RCN Council.

These seats have been created to make sure HCAs and APs have a voice on the RCN’s governing Council. All the information you need to cast your vote has been included in RCN HCAs&APs magazine.

Students will be electing two members to the student seats on RCN Council. These seats ensure that student issues are at the forefront of the RCN’s agenda. Voting papers and candidate statements have been posted with the latest copy of RCN Students magazine.

Casting your vote will help ensure that those elected represent your views and concerns.  Voting is quick and easy, but very important.

If you’re a student or HCA/AP member of the RCN, please fill in the voting papers and send them back to Electoral Reform Services in the envelope provided. Voting papers must be received by 14 September.
