RCN Member, Lorraine Morgan, appointed to the National Partnership Forum for Older People

Former RCN Wales Council Member Lorraine Morgan has been appointed to the National Partnership Forum for Older People. The group was set up in 2004 by the Welsh Assembly Government to provide it with independent expert advice to help inform policies to improve the lives of older people in Wales and plan for the implications of an ageing society.
Lorraine, a champion of older people, is an Academic Manager (Health and Nursing) at the Open University in Wales. She also lectures on Ageing, Care Management and Nursing Practice. She was previously a Wales housing association care homes manager. Her appointment to the forum will last until 31 October 2012.
