Non medical prescribing conference
Published: 11 March 2009
RCN Wales has announced a joint conference on medical prescribing with Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain.
This leading nursing union in Wales has announced a one day conference on 27th April 2009, Ty Maeth, Cardiff on non medical prescribing. This is the first event to be jointly hosted by the Royal College of Nursing (Wales) and the Welsh Directorate of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain.
The conference is an innovative step forward in responding to the trends in non-medical prescribing in Wales and will bring together both pharmacist and nurse prescribers to gather experience of their developing roles and highlight some of the challenges they face.
This conference will set the theme for subsequent events by identifying key areas of interest for clinicians, educators and managers. It will also feature examples of how non-medical prescribing is being used within Wales to enhance services and benefit patients as well as provide opportunities for learning, networking and forging new working partnerships.
This conference is aimed at all those with an interest in non-medical prescribing and there will no delegate fee for this event.
