In Memoriam

Published: 24 September 2012

The Royal College of Nursing was saddened to hear of the passing of a member who last year achieved her 50 years of service award.

Sister Rosie Ratcliffe, who worked at Princess Royal Hospital and Hull Royal Infirmary as a renal nurse for 39 years, suffered a stroke whilst at work.

Rosie was a valued member of the RCN throughout her nursing career.
She will be remembered at a special memorial service at Beverley Minister at 2pm on 18 October.

Hull Royal Infirmary Dialysis Unit will close for the afternoon in order to allow staff and patients to attend the service.
