Hertfordshire's first Parkinson's disease specialist nurse, Tracey Smith, has won a prestigious national award, given by Nursing Standard. Tracey's innovative work, includes developing a detailed resource pack, which has been warmly received on wards in Hertfordshire hospitals.

The Royal College of Nursing and Derby Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust have reached an agreement which will further improve the pay protection package for nurses whose posts are due to be downgraded as part of a restructuring at the trust's two hospitals.
