New Managing Director of RCN Publishing appointed

The Royal College of Nursing (RCN) today announced the appointment of Rhonda Oliver as the new Managing Director/Publisher at RCN Publishing. Rhonda will oversee the publication of Nursing Standard, the UK’s best-selling nursing journal, as well as ten leading specialist nursing titles.
Rhonda will be taking over the post on Wednesday 21st July from Linda Thomas, who is retiring this summer. Rhonda is currently Managing Director of the leading scientific publishing house Portland Press and has over 25 years experience as a Publisher.
As Managing Director of RCN Publishing, Rhonda will also be joining the Royal College of Nursing’s Executive Team.
Commenting on the new appointment Dr Peter Carter, Chief Executive & General Secretary of the Royal College of Nursing, said:
