RCN wins gold at HR Magazine Excellence Awards

The Royal College of Nursing (RCN) has won three awards at this week’s prestigious HR Magazine Excellence Awards. The RCN won the Health and Wellbeing Award, the Best HR team in the private sector award, and the prestigious HR Excellence Gold Award.

Dr Peter Carter, Chief Executive & General Secretary of the RCN said:

“This is a superb achievement by the HR team, and we are very proud of them. This is really important for us in our ambition to be an exemplary employer. As a trade union, it is vital that we demonstrate to the organisations who employ our members that we are leading the way in getting the best from each and every employee, and treating our staff well. Our members benefit directly from having an organisation which performs well – the service our staff give is truly excellent and we can show employers in the NHS and elsewhere that best practice in HR works.”

The HR Magazine Awards ceremony took place on Monday of this week in central London.
