The International Department works with the RCN Institute and our international alliances to influence the European and wider global research agenda.

The European Research Agenda is divided into Framework Programmes. The current Framework Programme is called FP7 and runs until 2013. This programme aims to make Europe the most competitive and dynamic knowledge-based economy in the world, with greater employment and more social cohesion.
