Having suitable and sustainable social care providers in place is critical to ensuring that the patient journey across the care systems is as seamless and smooth as possible. The RCN has previously called for the Government’s consideration of the financial sustainability of social care providers and welcomes this consultation. This consultation signals the Government’s recognition of the need to develop better market oversight of adult social care.
