    The College gives legal support to our members in relation to any proceedings bought against them by the nursing profession’s regulator, the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). The College therefore has unique and significant first hand experience of the processes currently in place for the adjudication of the fitness to practise of nurses, and receives invaluable feedback from the nursing profession on the NMC’s mechanisms for delivering adjudication. The College has also monitored with interest the work undertaken in recent years by the Office of Health Professions Adjudication and the CHRE.
