The RCN has responded to the Monitor framework document, which was created for contributions to the early stages of thinking about the shape and content of the proposed licensing regime.

On 2 July 2008 the European Commission published a draft directive on the application of patients' rights in cross-border healthcare. This draft legislation seeks to codify existing European Court Justice case law on patients' rights in accessing cross-border healthcare, and clarify its application. The draft sets out a legal framework for patients accessing healthcare in another EU member state.

The RCN have responded to The King’s Fund further review on the theme of leadership for engagement.

The RCN has responded to the Advisory Committee on Dangerous Pathogens (ACDP) updated specialist guidance on the management of patients with viral haemorrhagic fever (VHF) or other infectious diseases of high consequence.

The RCN have responded to the Care Quality Commission consultation on the fees they propose to charge providers of health and adult social care services from 1 April 2012. This includes out-of-hours (OOH) services that will be registering with them for the first time in 2012.

The RCN supports the principle of revising approaches in light of experience, and supports the efforts being made to consult by the CQC on changes.
