VTE Prevention Quality Standard

In response to the Darzi report, High Quality Care For All, the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) was commissioned by the Department of Health to produce quality standards. This expands NICE’s role to include setting and approving independent quality standards for the NHS.
