Join the discussion
Since the last newsletter, a number of you have contacted the RCN to seek help in connecting you with others across England who are working through the significant reforms facing the NHS.
So, to help serve RCN members, a section in the RCN Discussion Zone has been created for nurses involved in commissioning. It was created so you can post requests for information from others in clinical commissioning groups or commissioning support services, the RCN or regions.
For example, you might want to find out if someone has a good job description or policy document to share. Alternatively you might just want to raise an open question and start a debate.
Please continue to share intelligence or get in touch with the RCN through the email address commissioning@rcn.org.uk but we hope you find the Discussion Zone a useful additional tool to share information and get support from other nurses in roles related to the new commissioning structures across NHS England.
To access the Discussion Zone, you will need to enter your member password. If you haven’t already registered to use the member section of the RCN website you can do so by visiting MyRCN. Please have your membership number to hand when you do this.
Once you are registered, you will be able to find the commissioning Discussion Zone in the ‘topics’ section of the page or you can follow this link.
