Final agreement
The final version of the agreement between the UK Health Departments, NHS Confederation, Unions and Professional Bodies to modernise the NHS pay system as agreed at the NHS Staff Council meeting on 23 November 2004.

NHS terms and conditions of service handbook
This is the latest version of the terms and conditions of service handbook which applies in full to all staff directly employed by NHS organisations, except very senior managers and staff within the remit of the Doctors’ and Dentists’ Review Body.

The third edition of the NHS job evaluation handbook and nationally agreed job profiles. This is the comprehensive guide on job evaluation (JE) for organisations, including mainstreaming JE, resolving issues on blocked matching and evaluating jobs, weighting and scoring, band ranges and how to use job profiles. NHS knowledge and skills framework (NHS KSF) and appraisals
This guide, produced by the NHS Staff Council, covers the independent review of KSF, how the KSF has been simplified and how KSF can be used to support staff development as part of appraisals. The guide has a range of practical tools and tips from trusts which are also available on NHS Employers website, for trusts to download and tailor to meet local needs.
