Clinical grades 1 April 2005/06

Following the signing of the Agenda for Change (AfC) agreement, the old Whitley pay system ceased to exist. Although AfC is now a reality for the NHS, for some members moving onto the new pay bands may be delayed. These members will continue to be paid according to their old clinical grade, but uplifted by the final Pay Review Body award of 3.225 per cent for 2005/06. When members are assimilated to the new pay bands their pay will be calculated as per the AfC agreement.
