Swine influenza

The Health Protection Agency website contains up to date information on influenza. Please enter 'influenza' into the search box on the main homepage.

The Royal Society Public Health (RSPH) has also released a useful communication on swine influenza. It contains useful links to other websites which answer key questions on swine flu and influenza pandemics. Read the communication from the RSPH (Word 30KB).

Go to International Society for Infectious Diseases website for an international perspective and daily update on the swine influenza outbreak.

Owing to the unprecedented speed in which swine flu travelled from country to country, the World Health Organization (WHO) has changed the way it reports the number of confirmed cases and deaths by country as well as the requirement for countries to supply World Health Organization with this information.
