For many people, the peace of mind which trade union membership brings is itself worth the cost of monthly subs.

As a single-issue trade union whose sole focus is the nursing workforce, the RCN is better placed than any other trade union in the UK to provide expert advice, support and workplace representation to nurses, nursing support workers and student nurses.

An enormous strength of the RCN is in its combined role as trade union and professional body. RCN Legal Services

The RCN has the largest in-house legal team of any union or professional body in the UK. Our highly experienced team of legal professionals provide a valuable service to members needing advice and representation on a range of workplace legal issues, including employment, regulatory, barring, inquests, public inquiries and criminal.

The team has a proven record of achieving excellent outcomes for members, and statistics show year-on-year that a member is likely to get a better outcome before their regulator when represented by RCN Legal Services.
