This Community supports nurses engaged in or interested in the Practice Development and / or Children’s Nursing Education
The purpose is to promote Practice Development and / or Children’s Nursing Education by:
- Supporting, informing, influencing and sharing good practice for and with all concerned with children and young people's nursing education
- maintaining a body of expertise as a resource for the profession
- providing peer support
- continuing education
- facilitating a dialogue between the Royal College of Nursing and members for the purpose of consultation and working on pertinent child health issues of the day.
Our objectives:
- To hold quarterly meetings in the London Area. The Community share ideas, education and training opportunities, and other information via network emails To continue to actively maintain our community and its function
- To promote a high standard of Practice Development and / or Children’s Nursing Education nursing
- To raise the profile of Practice Development and / or Children’s Nursing Education
