RCN Scotland campaigns on issues which affect nursing and health. We work with a range of partners and networks to raise awareness and to keep the pressure on politicians and other opinion formers to take action.
RCN Scotland also plays a full role in the RCN's UK-wide campaigns. Find out more about these in RCN campaigns.
Nursing at the Edge
Scotland is unequal. People’s health is inextricably linked to the circumstances in which they live, and inequalities in health are widening. This is because the health of the least deprived people in Scotland is improving at a faster rate than the most deprived.
Nursing at the Edge features the work of a number of nurses leading exciting services that aim to reduce health inequalities. Look through this site to find out more about their work and how you can support our aim to tackle health inequalities. Read more.
Future Conversations is an innovative opportunity to shape the future of nursing in Scotland.
It involves nurses talking to each other about what the profession might look like in the future, what challenges nurses will be facing and how the profession will need to adapt to rise to these challenges. Read more.
