Submit a Congress fringe event

Need help?

Read our guide to submitting a Congress fringe event

Promote your Congress event

With so many different events at Congress, it's important to ensure you highlight exactly what your fringe event is all about. In order to help the Fringe Selection Panel make its decision, and to help us promote your event please complete the form fully and accurately. We especially need to know the aims and purposes of your fringe event and how it will benefit attendees. You should:
  • Be specific about who you are targeting to attend – e.g. what grades and job roles
  • Explain what the purpose of your event is e.g. to launch a product/publication; to seek views on a key contemporary issue; to share innovative practice
  • Highlight what someone will take away by attending the event, and how they can translate the learning from the session in their role and workplace
  • Explain the relevance of your fringe event to today’s health care environment and demonstrate explicit links to other areas of RCN work including educational events and programmes.

We will use this information to promote your event, if it is selected, on the Congress website, and in the printed Congress Guide, which all delegates will receive when they arrive in Liverpool.

Please note, only RCN “entities” can submit a fringe event, for all other enquiries contact
