RCN UK Safe and Effective Staffing Group and the University of Southampton study research team

Almost every member of the health care profession is affected by staffing level issues.

This event will:

  • feedback findings from a national research study on how policies developed following the Francis inquiries to support ‘safe-staffing’ have been implemented. The study looked at what has happened, how staffing levels changed, the costs and consequences, and factors that affect how policies have been implemented locally
  • engage with nurses to get their take on the findings
  • have the potential to act a spring-board for wider discussions on this key topic
