Novel psychoactive substance misuse is rapidly developing into a major public health concern, especially with the recent reports of increase in morbidity and mortality associated with fentanyl, Xanax and spice misuse.

This interactive workshop will aim to both highlight the current threat level faced by frontline healthcare services by those managing individuals presenting with NPS misuse, and engage with attendees regarding their own personal experiences. Latest evidence on how to manage such presentations will be explored as well as common pitfalls. This workshop will focus on shared learning and disseminating information regarding safer practice.
