Pride in Nursing

Celebrating LGBTQ+ diversity across the RCN

The RCN is an inclusive organisation representing a hugely diverse workforce. #PrideInNursing is all about celebrating diversity, equality and inclusion in nursing and our commitment to support LGBTQ+ members and our wider membership to support their LGBTQ+ colleagues.

The nursing workforce has a huge role to play in creating inclusive health care settings, tackling health inequalities, and creating a fairer society for all. When workplaces are inclusive both staff, patients and residents benefit.

This year, we are supporting our members to celebrate #PrideInNursing. On this page you’ll find a range of resources, events and further reading to show your support for Pride and lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer/questioning visibility.
