RCN Foundation Lamplight Support Service

Supporting nursing, improving care

The RCN Foundation supports working and retired nurses, midwives, health care assistants, nursing students and their families in times of need, helping to get their lives and careers back on track.

Through the RCN Foundation Lamplight Support Service, we provide vital services to help members of the nursing team get their lives and careers back on track in times of need.

The lamplight Support Service offers current or previous Nurses, Midwives and Healthcare Assistants advice and support in times of need and can provide financial grants to alleviate hardship. 

How to apply

This service is jointly run with the Royal College of Nursing, the service is open to all regardless of membership to the RCN. To access the service please call 0345 772 6200 where you can book an appointment to speak to one of our specialist assessors who will talk through your situation with you.
