Help us reach all NHS members
RCN members have voted at Congress to begin a summer of planned protests, in response to the continuing cap on nursing pay.
This comes after a poll of members working in the NHS, in which 91% of respondents said they’d take industrial action short of a strike.
78% of members who completed the poll said they were prepared to go on strike.
This is a clear message that the Government’s policy on pay is not acceptable.
Now we need your help to build engagement with other members in your area, to give us a mandate to ballot.
If the next Government do not scrap the pay cap, we'll make a decision about timing on a ballot.
Almost 50,000 of you are ready to be mobilised - and with your help, we can reach all our NHS members.
As a pay champion, you'll engage your colleagues and coordinate campaign activity in your area.
You'll be supporting members to take part in local action, from speaking with MPs to holding a workplace demonstration.
Sign up using the form. We'll contact you with ways to get involved.
