RCN Guidelines on Fertility Preservation

In light of current evidence and revised NICE guidelines (2013), the RCN will develop a new publication for nurses. It will help nursing teams engage and discuss with men, women and children, the process for successful cryopreservation of gametes, when fertility is compromised due to illness or treatment.

It is hoped the new resource will encourage equity of care and prompt access to fertility preservation services and support nursing teams in delivering this information in an informed and supportive manner.

The RCN is seeking to collaborate with organisations whose priorities align in fertility and are keen to support the development and wide dissemination of these patient pathway guidelines.

To discuss how this collaboration could align with your business objectives, please contact Sally Faley on 0207 647 3989.
