NHS Improvement safe and sustainable staffing improvement resource consultations

NHS Improvement has been working with clinical and academic professionals and the RCN to develop of a suite of safe and sustainable staffing improvement resources across seven different clinical areas.

NHS Improvement will be seeking views on the seven draft improvement resources over the next three months. 

These clinical areas are:

  • Acute adult inpatient   
  • Learning disabilities 
  • Mental health (expected in January 2017) 
  • Maternity (expected in February 2017) 
  • Emergency Department and urgent care (expected in February 2017)
  • Children’s (expected in February 2017) 
  • Community (expected in February 2017)    

We want to know what you think about the draft improvement resources. We will feed your views back to NHS Improvement.

The following survey(s) will ask questions about the usability, usefulness and the potential impact of the draft improvement resource in supporting decision making about nurse staffing levels.
