NICE Draft Guideline Consultation for Lyme Disease

NICE is consulting on the draft guidelines for Lyme Disease.

This guideline:

• covers diagnosing and managing Lyme disease.
• includes advice on clinical assessment for Lyme disease, which tests to use and when and treatment with antibiotics.
• aims to raise awareness of when Lyme disease should be suspected and ensure that people are given prompt and consistent treatment.
• does not cover preventing Lyme disease.
