Health Practitioner Committee Vacancies

London, Northern, East Midlands 

Following the announcement of candidates and an objection and withdrawal period, the below candidates have been successfully elected uncontested to seats on the RCN Health Practitioners Committee:

- Maive Coley (East Midlands)

- Sagila Thiruthaniksalan (London)

The below candidates have been nominated for election to the Northern region seat on Health Practitioners Committee:

- Kevin Morley 

- Lynda High

Voting opens on 8 August and RCN Northern Region Health Practitioner members will be emailed a ballot paper by the election scrutineer, UK Engage. To find out more please read the election procedure which details the election timeline. 

Eastern, South East, West Midlands  

Official notice of candidates

The candidates below have been nominated for election to the vacant seats on the RCN Health Practitioners Committee.

- Annette Bailey (South East) 

- Richard Gardner (Eastern)

- Chelsea Spence (South East) 

In advance of the election a notice period is given for any objections to be raised about their eligibility to stand. This period is from 13 August 2018 to 17 August 2018 inclusive. If no valid objections are received during this period and, subject to final verification checks, the candidates will then be declared eligible to stand for election. In cases where only one candidate has stood they will be duly elected to the seat. If valid objections are raised and subsequently verified, the candidate’s nomination will be withdrawn.
