Nursing Support Workers Committee

Nominations now open

Nominations are now open for the election of the following seats on the RCN Nursing Support Workers Committee:

  • Northern Ireland
  • North West
  • Scotland
  • South West
  • Wales
  • Yorkshire & the Humber

The term of office for each seat is from 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2024. 

In addition, the seats for the Eastern and West Midlands regions are now open for nominations for terms of office to 31 December 2022.

As a committee member you will fulfil a vital role in helping the committee to achieve its purpose, providing a voice for the health care assistant, assistant practitioner, nursing associate and trainee nursing associate members of the RCN within the context of wider health and social care developments impacting upon nursing and patient care.

An integral part of living our commitment to equality and inclusion means that all RCN elected roles should reflect the diversity of our membership and the communities they serve. Nominations are welcomed and encouraged from everyone who meets the eligibility criteria.
